Meet Erica

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
National Certified Counselor
A trusted clinical professional counselor who listens to you

I’m Erica Sokol, LCPC, NCC, and I help people heal their mind and find their path towards the life they want. I do this by creating an environment where you or your loved one will feel safe to express feelings and concerns without pressure, fear or judgment.

A trusted clinical professional counselor who listens to you

With proper guidance and support, everyone can fulfill their true potential. This doesn’t mean life won’t get unpleasant sometimes. But with the right help, you can manage life’s challenges and push through the bad times, so you can make the most of the good times.

Why choose me as your clinical counselor?

Deciding you need a professional to help you with an important life transition, to save a relationship or to address a mental health concern is a courageous first step. More important, however, is who you choose to help you on your journey.

You’ll want a counselor who genuinely cares about a successful outcome and who’s committed to giving you the best therapy possible. I’ll go out of my way to help you; and I won’t give up hope, even if you think there’s no hope.

All my sessions are client-led. This means you’ll set your own pace, and we’ll move forward only when you’re ready. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, address the roadblocks that stop you from achieving your goals and break down your path to success into manageable and achievable targets.

My background

I’ve witnessed the pain mental illness can cause first hand, within my family. This inspired me to study Psychology at Argosy University, where I focused on substance abuse, and at Benedictine University, where I obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. After graduating, I worked with clients experiencing mental health issues and developmental disabilities for over seven years. But my proudest moment was my time at NAMI DuPage, where I developed a Peer Training Program and participated in the Ladder to Leadership program sponsored by the Community Memorial Foundation.

I started Dynamic Fusion Counseling to concentrate on the areas of practice I am most passionate about and to help people find the path to the life they want. In my free time, I enjoy exploring our nation’s beautiful landscape with my husband, daughters and two dogs. I’m also a Reiki Master and practice Yoga and meditation.
